Crusader Field

Crusader Field was built in 1994 with the inaugural season being 1996. Crusader field is the home of Belmont Abbey Softball, has seen several upgrades in the last few years.

During the summer of 2017, a new hitting facility was built, giving the Crusaders a 75' x 30' are that features artificial turf flooring, two individual cages and a moveable divider allowing for infield practice during inclement weather.

Before the 2016 season, a chain link backstop was replaced with a netting system and brick base.

Most recently, the field saw a state of the art Daktronics scoreboard and accompanying arch installed in 2020.
