Alumni Field

Alumni Field was built in 1963.

The field plays host to the men's and women's soccer, lacrosse and field hockey programs.

During the summer of 2015 the old track was removed and an asphalt walking path, chain link fencing, and athletic billboards were installed in its stead. In the summer of 2016, the bench areas for both visiting and home teams were upgraded with permanent covers and concrete pads. In the fall of 2016, the press box was raised and the scoreboard was mounted to the front.

In the fall of 2020, lights were added to the facility. "The fruit of the vision, hard work, and generosity of tremendous donors and contributors, this $400,000 facility enhancement will benefit significantly the students who compete under the lights, the spectators who observe them doing so, and the entire Abbey community for years to come” Athletic Director Stephen Miss said.

The project includes Musco's Light-Structure Green ™ lighting system with Total Light Control - TLC for LED and Green Generation Lighting ® Metal Halide technology on poles located near each corner of the field. The energy-efficient system provides 50% less spill and glare light than Musco's prior industry-leading technology.

Alumni became home to mens soccer in 1963, womens soccer in 1994, mens and womens lacrosse in 2006, and most recently, field hockey in 2016.
