2012: First-team all-conference selection and the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year.  Just Belmont Abbey’s second Freshman of the Year honoree and the first since 2007. Finished as the league leader in kills and points per set, and in conference matches, leads the league in kills. She has posted nine double doubles in 27 matches.

High School: Prep Volleyball’s Molten Most Improved Second Team. Florida Times Union First Team selection. The Bolles School’s Babe Ruth award (distinguished in one’s sport). Qualified for Nationals with JJVA 17N team. High school team went to State Final Four all four years. Florida Times Union third-team selection in tennis. Four year Varsity Volleyball Letter Winner. Played for JJVA National Teams for four years. Held first and second honors all four years of High School.

Personal: Born June 6, 1994. Is the third oldest of eight children. Daughter of Tom and Catherine Schellenberg. Oldest sister Kay was the Conference Carolinas Female Athlete of the Year in 2012-13 and the Conference Player of the Year and all-region selection. Older sister Lydia was a four year outside hitter for the Crusaders from 2010-13. Uncle, Robert Schellenberg, graduted from Belmont Abbey in 1973.
