Women's Volleyball Takes Second Five Set Win In Six Hours, A 3-2 Win Over Arkansas Tech

Six hours after defeating UNC Pembroke in a five set thriller,  the Belmont Abbey women's volleyball team again locked horns in a tight battle that went the distance, this time with Arkansas Tech. Belmont Abbey came out ahead by scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 16-25 and 15-11.

In the fifth set, Arkansas Tech fought off four match points before the Abbey sealed the win.

Hannah Schellenberg again totaled 22 kills as she hit .315 for the match. Lydia Schellenberg added 11 and Claire Lang posted ten on 16 attacks with just two errors. Abby Stine handed out 27 assists and Gabby Martinez finished with 19.The defense again was solid, as Pagan totaled 30 of the Abbey's 74 digs. Lydia Schellenberg added 14 and Hannah Schellenberg posted 12. Tori Jensen controlled the net, recording four block assists and a block solo, while Hankins added three block assists. Lang totaled a pair.
