The Belmont Abbey women's volleyball team outlasted UNC Pembroke by scores of 23-25, 28-26, 21-25, 25-22 and 15-3. The Crusaders dominated the fifth set, holding the Braves to a negative attack (-.160) as its offense registed a .348 output, knocking down eight kills with no errors on 23 total attacks.
Lydia Schellenberg led all players with a career-high 23 kills to go along with 19 digs. Hannah Schellenberg posted 22 kills and 18 digs, while Caitlin Hankins added nine kills. The defense registered 91 total digs as Pagan finished with 29, her then career-high. Gabby Martinez added 14 with a career-high 31 assists. Abby Stine finished with 20 assists.
Hankins logged four total blocks (three assisted and one solo) and Tori Jensen logged five (three assisted and two solo), the last of which, along with Claire Lang, ended the match. Lang totaled four total blocks in the match.
