High School: four year letter winner in volleyball and tennis and one in basketball. All first coast third team volleyball selection twice. All first coast third team in tennis twice. Appeared in the volleyball state final four three times. State runner up at number four singles in tennis. Babe Ruth award (for being distinguished in a sport).

Personal: Born June 9, 1992. Daughter of Tom and Catherine Schellenberg. Is the second oldest of eight children. Oldest sister Kay was the Conference Carolinas Female Athlete of the Year in 2012-13 and the Conference Player of the Year and all-region selection. Younger sister Hannah is a sophomore outside hitter and was the 2012 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. Uncle, Robert Schellenberg, is a 1973 Belmont Abbey graduate.
