Women's Tennis Competes Against Bears

BOONE, N.C. - Teagan McNamara got her third #1 singles victory of the season, but the Belmont Abbey Women's Tennis team lost 6-1 against Lenoir-Rhyne University this afternoon.  The Abbey is now 4-7 on the year, while the Bears improve to 10-1.  The match was played on the indoor courts at the Deer Valley Racquet Club in Boone, N.C.

How it Happened

  • McNamara earned her third victory of the season at #1 singles with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 win
  • Erica Dorn, at #5 singles, also forced a third set
