Head Coach Mike Lynch commented: "Coming off 2 losses, we wanted to compete aggressively and creatively right from the kickoff. Except for a couple Emmanuel chances early, our possession took over setting the tempo for much of the game. Senior Captain Cierra Skyers led the attack scoring the first hat trick of her career including a pk with just seconds left in regulation. Emmanuel did well to clog up the middle. Our marking in midfield was better too which kept Emmanuel away from our goal for large portions of the game."
Belmont Abbey will next face off against King University in Bristol, TN on Tuesday.
