5 Women's Lacrosse Players Named All-Conference

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced the 2019 All-Conference team this afternoon.  Five Belmont Abbey players were selected.

First Team All-Conference
Sophomore attacker Kylie Eastman has recorded 127 points this season, the highest in the nation.  She has scored 88 goals on the year, good enough for second highest in the country.  Her 39 assists this season are  second-highest in Conference Carolinas this year.  Eastman also placed in the conference's top 10 with 45 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers.

Junior midfielder Marin Felsoci places among the nation's top 10 in draw controls on the year with 114, which also leads Conference Carolinas.  She won a season-high 12 against Erskine on April 6.  Her 65 goals scored on the season are tied for third in the conference.  Felsoci also places in the league's top 10 with 73 points.

Sophomore defender Marissa Laidley has caused 20 turnovers this year, second best on the team, and among the top 20 in the conference.  She earned a season-high three caused turnovers in a game at Queens.  Laidley has also picked up 26 ground balls this year.


Third Team All-Conference
Junior attacker Jenna Niedzwiedzki has scored 30 goals this season, good enough to place in the conference's top 20.  In an April 6 contest at Erskine, she tallied seven goals.  She has also won 24 draw controls this season.

Sophomore defender Sarah Schaefer has caused 15 turnovers on the year.  Her season-best came against UVA-Wise, when she caused three.  Her 38 ground balls on the year place among the top 10 in the league.
