Helton Tied for Fourth, Crusaders Sixth After 18 Holes at Coker

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Haley Helton battled cold and damp weather conditions Monday to fire an 82, helping Belmont Abbey to a sixth-place standing at the halfway point of the Coker Women's Invitational. The Crusaders totaled 353 in the opening round, 23 shots behind tournament leader Shorter.

Helton is tied for fourth in the field, while Kaitlyn Gribbon is tied for 17th with an 87. Taylor Cozart and Elizabeth Hordes are in a group at 92, while Anne Parlmer is 33rd at 97. Shorter's Paula Oviedo leads the individual standings with a 77.

The final round will take place on Tuesday.
