Women's Golf In 12th After Opening Round Of Rendleman Invitational

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team carded an opening round 335 as the top three players all scored an 83 as the Crusaders sit alone in 12th place out of 14 teams after the opening round of the Patsy Rendlelman Invitational. The event is hosted by Catawba at the Country Club of Salisbury.

Anne Parlmer, Haley Helton and Jamie Treece are all tied for 37th with rounds of 83. Kaitlyn Gribbon is three shots back to sit in a tie for 57th and Sarah King is tied for 70th with an opening round 93.

The Crusaders are just two shots out of eleventh and sixth out of tenth as the final round begins tomorrow morning.
