Women's Golf Finishes 13th At Kiawah Island Intercollegiate

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team carded an aggregate score of 657, the lowest in three years, as the Crusaders finished 13th out of 15 teams at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. The two day tournament was hosted by Tusculum at the par 72 Cougar Pointe Golf Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

Belmont Abbey opened with a 331 yesterday and shaved five strokes off of that total today. Lauren Brychell opened with a 79 and closed with an 82 as she finished in a tie for 37th.

Kaitlyn Gribbon and Anne Parlmer both closed with rounds of 80 after each player carded an 80 in yesterday's opening round. They finished tied for 41st.

Sarah King's final round 87 was one shot better than yesterday as she finished in a tie for 67th, and Haley Helton posted rounds of 93-84 to finish in a tie for 72nd.
