Women's Golf 16th After Opening Round Of Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team is 16th out of 20 teams after the opening round of the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on the Rees Jones Course of the Sea Trail Resort in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.

The Crusaders are competing as a five player team while also entering three individuals in the field.

The individual players consisted of Anne Parlmer (84: T-63rd), Bryce Huntoon (93: T-94th) and Deanna Young (101: 100th).

Belmont Abbey fired a team score of 341 as sophomore Mia Baringer led the way with an 80. She will begin tomorrow's final round tied for 33rd.

Sarah King is tied for 71st with a score of 86 and Kaitlyn Gribbon is one shot back as she is tied for 76th.

Lauren Brychell and Haley Helton are tied for 78th and 84th respectively. Brychell carded an 88 and Helton posted a 90.
