Women's Golf Finishes 17th At Patsy Rendleman Invitational

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team finished 17th out of 18 teams at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational, which was hosted by Catawba College on the par 72 Country Club of Salisbury.

Belmont Abbey entered the day in 16th place with a 343 and carded a 348 today to finish with a total of 691.

Becca Kasten entered today's final round just six shots out of the lead, tied for 13th with a 79. Today she carded an 82 to finish in a tie for 27th.

Mia Baringer made the biggest jump, as she shaved eight shots off of yesterday's 90 as she vaulted from a tie for 90th into sole possession of 61st.

Anne Parlmer finished in a tie for 71st with rounds of 89 and 88. She began the day in a tie for 70th.

Sarah King opened with an 85 but fell to a 96 today as she tied for 77th. Deanna Young matched yesterday's 98 as she finished in a tie for 88th.

The Crusaders will wrap up the fall season with one last tournament, October 28-29 at the Rock Barn Collegiate Invitational in Conover, North Carolina.
