Crusaders Finish the Season With a 5-1 Loss to Mount Olive

SUMTER, SC – The Belmont Abbey Men's tennis team saw its 2015-2016 season come to a end, with a 5-1, loss to #2 seed Mount Olive in the quarter finals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament, which was being contested at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC. The Crusaders, who were the 7th seed in the event, completes the season with a 7-20 record, while Mount Olive, who advances to the semifinals, improves to 13-5.


The Crusaders lone victory of the day came at #1 flight in doubles as reigning Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, James Delaney, teamed up with Juan Baez to defeated Oqulcan Deniz and Sherzod Akramov, 8-4.
