MIAMI, Fla. -- Belmont Abbey posted rounds of 299 and 290 Monday to stand 10th after the first day of the inaugural Miami Intercollegiate. The tournament features nine of the top 10 teams in the country.
Nick Stafford shot a 68 in the second round after opening with a 74 to tie for 13th place (142), while Levi Kettelhut shot rounds of 73 and 72 (145) to sit in a tie for 28th. Michael Mead is tied for 49th at 150 (76-74), while Maurizio DeBono is tied for 59th after a pair of 76s (152). Austin Gliha rounded out the scoring with a 160 (82-78) to tie for 76th.
John VanDerLaan of Florida Southern paces the field at -4 (136), while West Florida holds the team lead at 555.
The final round will be played on Tuesday.
