Crusaders Tied for Sixth at Donald Ross Intercollegiate

MORGANTON, N.C. -- Levi Kettelhut posted a 36-hole score of five-over 145 Monday to stand tied for 14th after the first day of the Donald Ross Intercollegiate, being played at the Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club. The Crusaders are tied for sixth as a team with a score of 587 (288-299), 22 strokes behind the leader, Newberry.

Michael Mead is tied for 18th at 146 (72-74), while Nick Stafford is one stroke behind (72-75) in a tie for 22nd. Maurizio DeBono is tied for 30th with scores of 73 and 76 (149, while Austin Gliha rounded out the scoring with a pair of 76s (152/t40).

The final round will take place on Tuesday.
