Stafford Ties for Third at Bearcat Classic

GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Nick Stafford fired an even-par 72 on Tuesday to move up four spots to a tie for third in the final standings at Lander's Bearcat Classic. The junior posted a 54-hole score of one-over 217 (69-76-72).

As a team, the Crusaders tied for 10th overall, posting a score of 902 (302-303-297). The hosts took the team title with a score of 871, while Bearcat Michal Pospisil cruised to a nine-shot win with a nine-under 207.

John Molyneaux tied for 19th at 222 (79-70-73), while Levi Kettelhut tied for 49th  with a 229 (80-76-73/+13). Jacob Scruggs shot 239 (74-81-84/79th), while Maurizio DeBono rounded out the scoring in 87th place (85-83-79/247).

Belmont Abbey returns to action April 10-11 at The Trojan, played at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, N.C.
