Crusaders Tied for Fourth After First Day of Southern Tide

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey rebounded in the afternoon round Monday to stand tied for fourth at the Southern Tide Classic. After posting a 305 over the first 18 holes, the Crusaders fired a four-over 292 for a score of 597.

Nick Stafford is tied for 16th at 148 (77-71) while Levi Kettlehut is in a tie for 25th with a 151 (79-72). John Molyneaux (74-79) and Maurizio DeBono (83-70) are tied for 34th at 153, while Jacob Scruggs rounded out the scoring with a 159 (75-84).

Host Limestone is first at 582, while Scott Pechacek of Barton has the individual lead at three-under 141.

The final round will be played on Tuesday.
