Men's Golf Opens 2015-16 Season With 302 To Sit Tied For 11th At Kiawah Island Invitational

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team opened the 2015-16 season with a score of 302 to sit among four teams tied for 11th after 18 holes at the Kiawah Island Invitational, hosted by USC Aiken at the par 72 Osprey Point Golf Club.

The Crusaders were led by sophomores Nick Stafford and Michael Mead, who both carded rounds of 74. They are grouped among ten players that are tied for 27th. 

Five shots back are John Molyneaux and Connor Rinoski, who each posted rounds of 77 and are tied for 53rd.

Tyler Satorius began his senior year with a 80 as he is tied for 81st.

Belmont Abbey enters tomorrow's final round tied with King, Armstrong State, Brevard and Barton.
