Men's Golf Opens Play At Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate With Three Scoring Teams

15 Belmont Abbey men's golf student-athletes playing on three five man teams completed the opening round of the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on the Dan Maples Course at the Sea Trail Resort in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.

The Crusaders "A" team (the main scoring team for regional/national rankings) is tied for tenth, while the "B" team is alone in 17th and the "C" team is 19th.

The "A" team (Nick Stafford, James JaworskiTyler Satorius, Michael Mead and Cameron Buist) opened with a 296 as they are tied with King. Stafford is tied for 10th with a 71, Jaworksi tied for 20th with a 72, Satorius tied for 27th with a 73, Mead tied for 75th with an 80 and Buist tied for 82nd with an 81.

Belmont Abbey's next wave, the "B" team (Paul Lenartowich, Joe Lakey, Justin Curis, Todd Goebel and Cameron Mitro) posted a 312.

Lenartowich is tied for 27th with a 73, Lakey carded a 74 and is tied for 36th, Curis posted a 78 and is tied for 61st, Goebel is alone in 95th with an 87 and Mitro is tied for 96th with an 88.

The "C" team (Ryan Dewan, Nick Romeo, Aaron Shepard, Robert Ryan and Michael Renfrow) carded a 33. Dewan posted an 81 and is tied for 82nd, Romeo is one shot back and is tied for 88th, Shepard is alone in 92nd with an 84, Ryan is alone in 94th with an 86 and Renfrow is alone in 98th with a 91.
