Men's Golf Finishes Fifth At King Invitational; Satorius Records Top Ten Finish

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team finished fifth out of seven teams after completing the King Invitational, which was held at the Bristol Country Club in Bristol, Tennessee.

Belmont Abbey began the day in second after firing a one under 269 as four players were in the top ten of the leaderboard.

Playing in the final group, the Crusaders carded a 296 as they finished fifth. Tyler Satorius began the day tied for tenth as he opened with a one over 71. He carded an even par 70 today as he ended up in a tie for sixth.

Freshman Nick Stafford began the day tied for eighth with an even par 70 in the opening round. His 73 today allowed him to finish in a tie for 15th.

Michael Mead led the Crusaders with a two under 68 to start today in a tie for fourth. He ended today with a 76 to finish tied for 18th.

Cameron Buist finished in a tie for 25th as he opened with an even par 70 but carded a 77 today and James Jaworski fired rounds of 78-80 to finish in a tie for 35th.

Freshman Joe Lakey, competing as an individual, opened with an 80 but closed with a strong 73 to finish alone in 29th.
