Men's Golf "B" Team Finishes Fourth At Etowah Intercollegiate

The Belmont Abbey men's golf "B" team carded a final round 304 to finish fourth out of nine teams at the par 72 Etowah Intercollegiate, which was staged at the Etowah Valley Country Club in Etowah, North Carolina.

Belmont Abbey began the day in second place, just eight shots behind North Greenville, which ended up winning by eight shots.

Senior Paul Lenartowich carded the Abbey's low round of the day, posting a one over 73 after opening with an 81. He finished tied for twenty first as his final round included three birdies.

Cameron Mitro finished tied for sixteenth with scores of 72-77. He birdied the first and eighteenth holes today.

James Jaworski carded matching rounds of 76 to finish alone in 19th, one spot ahead of freshman Joe Lakey, who gained sole possession of twentieth. Lakey shaved one shot off of yesterday's 77.

Freshman Jack Shuber began the day in third, just two shots off the pace with a one under 71. Today, he carded an 88 as he ended up in a tie for thirty first.
