The Belmont Abbey men's golf team wrapped up play at the Armstrong Atlantic Pirate Invitational with a final round score of 311 to finish 14th out of 17 teams at the 54 hole event in Savannah, Georgia. The tournament featured six ranked teams, including three currently featured in the top ten.
Belmont Abbey entered the day in a tie for 13th with Lander after a 36 hole cumulative score of 617 (309-308). Today the Crusaders fired a 311 to record an aggregate score of 928.
Paul Lenartowich paced the Crusaders with a three-day score of 228. He posted rounds of 76-73-79 to finish in a tie for 32nd.
Matthew Reid closed with a five over par 76 after carding Monday scores of 75-83 to finish in a tie for 63rd.
Justin Curis rallied with a final round score of 75 after shooting 82-80 on Monday to end up in a tie for 69th. Todd Goebel closed with an 81, matching his second round score from Monday. Along with his opening round 77, he finished tied for 74th.
Cameron Buist gained lone possession of 77th with scores of 81-74-85.
