Reid Finishes Seventh To Lead Men's Golf To Tie For Eighth At Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate

Belmont Abbey's Matthew Reid finished alone in seventh place to lead the Crusaders men's golf team to a tie for eighth place finish at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate in Fleming Island, Florida. The tournament was hosted by Wingate.

Entering the day in a tie for fifth after posing a season best score of 281 in yesterday's afternoon round of a 36 hole day, the Crusaders carded a 305 today as they finished tied with Georgia Southwestern.

Reid carded scores of 75-67-73 to finish alone in seventh. It is his first top ten finish of the season.

Cameron Buist closed with a one over 72 after opening with scores of 78 and 71 as he finished alone in 22nd.

Paul Lenartowich fell to an 80 today after opening with scores of 75 and 67. He finished alone in 24th.

James Jaworski placed 69th with rounds of 81-79-80, while Taylor Inouye ended up in 75th with scores of 81-76-86.
