The Belmont Abbey men's golf A, B and C teams all completed play at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate this afternoon, as the A team finished alone in 12th, while the B team finished 19th and the C team ended up in 20th.
The A team shot a 306 today, six strokes higher than yesterday's score as Matthew Reid finished in a tie for 11th. He opened with a two over 74 but rallied with a two under 70 today. Robin Salmi opened with an even par 72 but closed with a 77 to end up in a tie for 34th. Cameron Buist finished alone in 71st with scores of 77-79 and James Jaworski opened with a 77 and closed with an 80 to finish in a tie for 72nd. Tyler Satorius finished in a tie for 84th with rounds of 79 and 81.
The B team opened with a 307 and closed with a 306 as Paul Lenartowich shaved two strokes off of yesterday's score of 78 to finish in a tie for 61st. Knox Gibson finished one stroke back with scores of 74-81 to end up in a tie for 65th. Cameron Mitro and Justin Curis both ended up in a tie for 72nd. Mitro carded rounds of 79-78 while Curis posted scores of 76-81. Greg Henion finished in a tie for 88th with scores of 80-82.
The last group of Crusaders, the C team, posted rounds of 324-342 as Nick Romeo finished 81-83 to finish alone in 92nd. Todd Goebel opened with an 80 and closed with an 85 to finish in a tie for 93rd. Ryan Dewan ended up alone in 96th with rounds of 80-89 and Taylor West shaved five strokes off of yesterday's 90 to claim sole possession of 100th. Michael Renfrow finished one shot back with scores of 83-100.
