Men's Golf Finishes 13th At Kiawah Island Invitational

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team finished 13th out of 17 teams at the Kiawah Island Invitational, which was hosted by USC-Aiken the past two days.

The Crusaders opened with a 307 and carded a 305 today as it moved from a tie for 16th after the opening round.

Sophomore Camerion Buist finished in a five-way tie for 21st, as he opened with an even par 72 but slid to a 76 today.

Matt Reid posted rounds of 77 and 76 to finish in a tie for 47th and Robin Salmi finished one shot back as he rallied with a one over par 73 today after opening with an 81. He ended up in a tie for 53rd.

Knox Gibson closed with an 82 after opening with a 78 to finish in a tie for 76th and James Jaworski opened with a 78 and closed with an 82 to finish in a tie for 76th.
