Men's Basketball Continues Homestand Saturday

BELMONT, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey returns to non-conference play when it hosts North Georgia in a Saturday afternoon affair. Please note the start time for the contest has recently changed from 2 to 2:30 to accommodate travel plans.

The Crusaders opened Conference Carolinas play on Wednesday against Barton, but could not hold a first-half lead in a 79-74 setback. Deion Lane led three players in double figures with 19 points.

North Georgia stands 2-4 following a 92-84 loss to 13th-ranked Queens on Wednesday. The NightHawks have lost three straight since an opening night win. They have three players averaging double figures, led by Shaquan Cantrell at 17.2. He is also tops in rebounds with 6.5 per contest.
