Women's Tennis Announces Early Signees

BELMONT, N.C. -- The Belmont Abbey Women's Tennis program has added four players for the 2016-17 season during the early signing period, Head Coach Michael Salomon announced today. The class is diverse, coming four different states, including North Carolina.

Joining the program as freshmen next fall will be Hannah Pieper of South Brunswick High School in Southport, N.C., Kateri David of Allen (Texas) High School, Riley Ellingson of Lakeville (Minn.) South High School and Morgan Nguyen, who plays at Bishop Snyder in Jacksonville, Fla.

"We are very excited about this group of young women joining our program next fall," Salomon said. "During the recruiting process we were really impressed with their overall maturity and commitment to truly be their best both on and off the court. This class will add a lot to our team environment and will bring a great work ethic and toughness to our program that will push us to continue growing each day."
