Crusaders Remain in Seventh after Day of Championship

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's golf team remains in seventh after the second day of competition at the Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship. After a first round 323, The Crusaders shot a 334, 49 strokes behind the leader Limestone.

Kaitlyn Gribbon short a team second-round low of 80, moving her to a tie for 14th. Jenna Nagy shot her second 82 of the tournament as she takes sole possession of 25th place. Haley Helton's 85 moves her to a tie for 26 and Elizabeth Hordes 87 gives her 39th place. Taylor Cozart shot a 96 as she is tied for 42nd.

The Final round of the Conference Carolinas golf Championship at Cutter Creek Golf Club will take place Tuesday.
