Women's Golf Tenth at Halfway Point of Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C. --Belmont Abbey fired a 319 as a team Monday to sit in 10th place after the first round of the 2017 Patsy Rendleman Invitational, hosted at the Country Club of Salisbury.

Freshman Jenna Nagy paced the Crusaders with an opening round of three-over 75 to share 15th place. She trails leader Savannah Hallman of North Greenville by five strokes entering the final round. Kaitlyn Gribbon is tied for 28th at 77, while Haley Helton is tied for 50th at 81.

Taylor Cozart rounded out the team scoring at 86 (tied for 68th), while Jamie Treece (87/t73rd) and Autumn Senter (91/83rd) also competed.

The final round will be played tomorrow.
