Kimberly Braxton enters her third season on the Belmont Abbey coaching staff, but was elevated to a full-time position last summer. On the field, she focuses on hitting, while working with outfield and infield defense, plus served as the first base coach. Braxton is also the head coach for the developmental program and serves as the recruiting coordinator.
Braxton played softball at Spartanburg Methodist College, where she helped lead the team to the Junior College National Tournament held in Nevada. After earning dean’s list and honor roll recognition enroute to an Associate's Degree in art, she finished her career at Charleston Southern University in the Big South Conference.
She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University Of South Carolina.
A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Braxton resides in Belmont.
