Men's Tennis Drops 7-2 Decision To Visiting Young Harris

Belmont Abbey senior Damien Nelson teamed with Nikhil Reddy Amaresh to earn a doubles victory and then posted a straight sets singles victory as the Crusaders men's tennis team lost 7-2 to the visiting Young Harris Mountain Lions this afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.

Nelson and Amaresh posted an 8-4 victory at number three doubles, and then Nelson scored a 6-3, 6-3 victory at number six singles.

At the top flight, Conner McMann nearly gained a third point for the Crusaders, as he fell in three sets. McMann claimed the first set 6-4, but dropped the last two sets 6-4, 6-1.

The Crusaders are back in action Tuesday when hosting Mount Olive.
