Men's Tennis Loses At Charlotte, 7-0

The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team lost at UNC Charlotte by a 7-0 score this afternoon at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.

Playing NCAA Division I rules, nine matches were played, but only one doubles point was awarded to the team score.

The Crusaders nearly won at number one doubles, as Eduardo Escobar and Conner McMann lost 8-6.

In singles, McMann was the only Crusader to win a game, as he lost 3-6, 6-7 (2-7).

Belmont Abbey is back in action Sunday when it hosts Johnson C. Smith at the Reidy Tennis Center.
