Belmont Abbey senior men's lacrosse midfielder Dan Morrissey will represent the Crusaders one final time as he was invited to play in the USILA/Laxworld North/South Division I/II All-Star Game Friday afternoon at Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
Morrissey is just the second player in program history to be invited to play in the game, joining goalkeeper Mark Kelske, who played after the 2008 season.
Morrissey finished his career as the school's first four-time all-conference selection. The 2010 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year, the Mahasset, New York standout scored 82 career goals and assisted on 62 others. He scored a career-high 27 goals as a junior. His 23 assists this year was his career best.
