Men's Basketball To Open 2010-11 Season With Exhibition At Clemson
For the second consecutive season, the Belmont Abbey men's basketball program will open the season with an exhibition at an Atlantic Coast Conference venue, as the Crusaders will travel to Clemson for a season opening exhibition Friday, November 5 at Littlejohn Coliseum. Men's Basketball Loses To Third-Seed Anderson In Final Seconds, 90-89; Patus Records 1,000th Career Point In Final Game
The seventh-seeded Belmont Abbey basketball team outscored Anderson 49-38 in the second half after trailing 40-25 at halftime, but Anderson's Kevis Cornwell broke an 89-89 tie with a free throw with four seconds left to allow the Trojans to advance to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Final with a 90-89 win this evening at the Abney Center....
