Summer Softball Camp Dates Set
The 2013 Belmont Abbey Summer Softball Camp dates, under the direction of head coach Brooke LeSage, are set. There will be three day camps, featuring three sessions each, on the same day, which will take place June 26, July 31 and August 14. There will also be two, three day camps, which will take place July 23-25 and again on August 6-8.... (more)
Softball Wraps Up 2013 Season With Two Losses To King, 2-1 & 4-0
The Belmont Abbey softball team closed out the 2013 season with a pair of losses to the visiting King College Tornado, dropping the opener 2-1 and falling 4-0 in the season finale. King clinches the Conference Carolinas regular season title as it moves to 27-24 overall and 15-3 in Conference Carolinas, while the Crusaders end their season with a mark of 10-32 overall and 3-17 in Conference Carolinas.... Softball Defeats Pfeiffer In Game One, Falls In Game Two On Penultimate Day Of 2013 Season
The Belmont Abbey softball team gained a split against the visiting Pfeiffer Falcons in a Conference Carolinas doubleheader, taking game one, 9-1 in six innings and falling in game two, 5-1. The Abbey is now 10-30 overall and 3-15 in Conference Carolinas, while Pfeiffer moves to 20-24 overall and 8-10 in Conference Carolinas.... (more)
Softball Splits Doubleheader At Erskine; Drops Game 1, 9-0, Comes Back For 7-2 Victory In Game Two
The Belmont Abbey softball team gained a doubleheader split at Erskine this afternoon, dropping the opener 9-0 in five innings, but rallied to win game two, 7-2, to snap a 15-game losing streak. Erskine is now 11-15-2 overall and 7-4-1 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey improves to 9-29 overall and 2-14 in league play.... (more)
