Wrestling Falls Twice At Belmont Abbey Duals

Joseph Maumoynier Won Both Matches By Fall

The Belmont Abbey wrestling team fell twice today at the Belmont Abbey Duals. The Abbey hosted Limestone College, Anderson University, and Seton Hill University Belmont Abbey lost to Anderson 28-15 with pins from Shane Summerlin (125) and Joseph Maumoynier (165) and a decision from Ryan Gregory (174). Summerlin earned his pin halfway into the second period while Maumoynier got the pin at 2:59 into the first period.

In the next match against Seton Hill the Abbey lost 32-16 with a pin from Maumoynier at 1:41 into the first period against Jeffery Webster. Other wins came from Gregory with a 9-0 major over Randall Wagner. Nick Rees received a forfeit.
