Wrestling Falls To Anderson, 21-16; Defeats Saint Andrews 25-18

The Belmont Abbey wrestling team fell to Anderson 21-16 and defeated Saint Andrews Presbyterian 25-18 in the final home matches of the year. The Abbey is now 2-15 in dual meets. Shane Summerlin, Jake Varilek, Ryan Gregory and Ben Oeser all won their respective bouts against Anderson. Corey White fell 5-4 in four overtimes. He battled his way into overtime and forced a third overtime when his opponent committed a false start penalty.

In the Saint Andews match, Summerlin, White, Varilek, Gregory and Kyle Spar won their respective bouts.
